NuLeaf CBD Review

NuLeaf Naturals is a company that we have known to be laser-focused on the quality of their product. They offer just three products, with no flavors, no additives, nothing to distract from the organically grown hemp safely extracted and carried in organic hemp seed oil. Knowing this, we came to this review anticipating a good experience, and we weren’t disappointed. Read on for our thoughts. When you consider buying a NuLeaf product, keep in mind their discounts for veterans, first responders, teachers, and others – check the list. Taste (7.6 out of 10)

Because NuLeaf adds no extra ingredients to the CBD they sell, you can expect that you will get a strong grassy hemp taste, and you would be right. With nothing to dilute the oil, the hemp taste is pronounced and lingers in the throat for a bit. If you find that off-putting, you might want to take your NuLeaf oil along with something else. If you don’t mind the hemp taste, just take the oil and be happy knowing that the taste confirms the unadulterated CBD goodness you are getting.

Delivery (8.8 out of 10)

NuLeaf uses a dropper for their oil delivery method, but this one has a bulb at the tip. The bulb not only helps prevent dripping, it also makes it easier to squeeze out one drop at a time to make the measuring of your dosage easier. We’d like to see the dropper imprinted with volume markings to help in gauging the desired dose, but that’s a minor thing. The oil itself is a clear, light gold, and very smooth. The clearness and color reflect the significant filtration that NuLeaf employs in their CO2 extraction, and indicate a pure product. Nuleaf makes it easy to confirm the purity by putting a QR code that shows the lab test results of your CBD right on the bottle.

Potency (9.0 out of 10)

The Nuleaf oil that we tried has 900mg in their 15 ml bottle, which makes measurement calculations easy. The one milliliter dropper will serve out 60 ml if full, and the Nuleaf-recommended serving size of 30 mg (10 drops) will be half of a dropper. This is a good serving size for many people, and obviously can be tweaked up or down as needed. Note that NuLeaf offers this oil in strengths ranging from 300 mg to a whopping 6000 mg, so you can choose other strengths suited to your own needs. We found that this oil delivered a nice unadulterated CBD punch. Remember, if you need help choosing your dosage, you can use our How to Use CBD infographic to help you find the right dosage for you.

Effect (9.0 out of 10)

You might think that a company founded in the early days of the CBD revolution (2014) by plant medicine specialists would deliver an effective CBD product, and you’d be right. Clearly, the NuLeaf focus on just a few products made well has paid off. We found that this oil gave us the calmness and clarity that we hope to see from our CBD regimen. This one delivers on the CBD promise and packs a punch.

Price (8.0 out of 10)

At the time of this review, this 900 mg CBD oil is priced at $99, which works out to 11 cents per milligram of CBD. This puts it in the high-middle range of 5 to 15 cents per milligram that we’ve come to expect, which is not out of line for a product of this quality. Looking closer, however, you will find several ways to dramatically drop this price: You can buy the stronger concentrations, which brings the price down proportionately (7.3 cents/mg for the 6000 mg bottle, for example). You could subscribe to regular deliveries of your oil and save 10%. Even better, NuLeaf Naturals has given us an exclusive coupon – use code CBDTOP10 for 15% off of the retail price anytime.
